![Brainy was created to fill the niche of developing peoples' most valuable [and least developed] asset - their thinking skills. We design and deliver programmes that make thinking easier, more conscious, directed and therefore less effortful. The firm was created by Kerry Maberly, Ph.D., to offer brain friendly training that utilises accelerated learning principles, strategies to enhance memory and retention, the role of exercise during training, the role of nutrition at training events and how to maximise transfer of learning into the workplace. The core belief of our firm is that thinking is a skill and therefore can be learnt.
Kerry is skilled in understanding and developing mindsets and thinking strategies that create high performance. With a background in training and organisational development roles, Kerry's clients have ranged from graduates through to senior executives. She has worked across diverse industries in Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Mexico and the UK. Industries have included Banking & Finance, Insurance, Transport (road, rail & air), Utilities, Education, Aged Care, Advertising, the Pharmaceutical industry and the Legal arena. Across her professional career she has worked with clients such as American Express, ANZ, Barclays Capital, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Country Energy, Network Rail, National Express, Easyjet, the Queensland Investment Corporation and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
With a First Class Honours degree in Behavioural Science majoring in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management specialising in decision-making, Kerry passionately uses her expertise to help others to develop their cognitive skills. She is a dynamic, engaging and knowledgeable trainer who consistently receives excellent feedback regarding her high impact style and the results she enables others to create.
